About Me
Jaclyn Kearns
Registered Psychotherapist
Iām a registered psychotherapist (RP) with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Trent University. I'm passionate about empowering individuals, couples, and families to navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change.
My Approach
My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a deep respect for each person's unique experiences and strengths. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, feelings, and goals.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including:
Emotionally Focused Individual and Couples Therapy (EFT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Narrative Therapy
I am also a certified ADHD Coach and have extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, Autism, and Giftedness. I utilize neurodiversity-affirming techniques and supports to help clients understand and embrace their unique strengths.
Beyond the Therapy Room
When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my three children, exploring new places, and indulging in my love for coffee. I'm an avid learner and believe in continuous growth, both personally and professionally.
If you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
